We have a vision for tomorrow…just believe..just believe..(c’mon sing along..you know the lyrics!)
Well, if this week is anything to go by, I would like to see this vision come true. We’ve had a hat trick of fuel discounts - First the 2 price reductions on 6 Aug 08 and now a 3rd discount just for the NDP weekend.
That’s right! The folks at SPC are offering an additional 3% discount for SPC & U members from 8 - 10 Aug 08. This means, you could possibly be saving up to 16% (Tier 4) and 13% (Tier 1) if you have a POSB Everyday credit card.
We have a hope for Singapore…We can acheive…We can achieve…

??? i just topped up today. no additional 3%. i only get the normal 10% (spent abt $410 last mth so 10% this mth)….

That’s weird. We confirmed with SPC that the 3% is on top of whatever current SPC & U discount their customers usually enjoy. Maybe you topped up before the promotion was made “official”?
Anyone else had a similar experience as Casey today?

The station discount for $410 spending for last month is definitely less than 10%… I think 10% is including the additional 3% for national day

I think he meant 7% (SPU Tier 3) + 3% (DBS credit card) = 10%.

yup… that’s right.. i am on tier 3 with 7% plus site discount 3%..
or is it only for POSB CC customers?

Nope..this is open to all customers. You don’t even need a credit card to enjoy it.

sorry, its supposed to be 7% spc & u site discount and 3% dbs cc discount…. checked with my colleague. same thing.. his posb also no additional discount…

the NDP extra 3% will auto increase in to your SPC&U Card. eg. if your discount this month for your SPC&U card is 8% so your cards will entired you an additional 3% total 11% discount for the period of 8 Aug to 10Aug!!

If you use POSB Credit card, will be:
Tier 1 - 5% + 5% (POSB Card) = 10% + 3%(NDP 8 aug to 10 aug) = 13%
Tier 1 - 6% + 5% (POSB Card) = 11% + 3%(NDP 8 aug to 10 aug) = 14%
Tier 1 - 7% + 5% (POSB Card) = 12% + 3%(NDP 8 aug to 10 aug) = 15%
Tier 1 - 8% + 5% (POSB Card) = 13% + 3%(NDP 8 aug to 10 aug) = 16%

What about if you have been using SAFRA card for the petrol instead of SPC & U card..
