New! Station and Carpark search feature
Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008 Tags: carpark search, station searchPosted in Development
Hi guys, we’ve finally managed to get the search function up. You can access this by clicking on the “Search” tab located at the top right of the menu navi bar.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that the carpark rates listed are 100% accurate. The list was compiled from multiple sources from the Internet and our previous records as well. However, in the spirit of PW, we warmly invite you guys to alert us if the rates are incorrect, which we will duly verify and update.
Thanks once again for your patience. We hope you enjoy this new feature. As usual, feel free to pass us your feedback. Cheers!

Hi Rayhunter,
try using the keyword “Raffles City” instead as the Google maps data stores mostly location-related info, not MRT station names. Hence, in this case “Raffles City” is a more appropriate search term to use rather than “City Hall”.
As for not calculating overnight charges, yes..we’re aware of it..that;s one of the current limitations. For the initial launch, we have concentrated our efforts to map most of the carpark charges into common algorithms. We also wanna see what’s the demand and response from our members first. If the response and demand is good, we can then look at enhancing it to include overnight charges.
