November 7th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
oil price dropping but donno why utiility hike still there, when oil price high they say can effect their rate charge, when drop they suddenly contacted dementia disease!!!
November 7th, 2008 at 3:07 pm
YEAH!!!!
November 7th, 2008 at 4:58 pm
SP saying that what they BROUGHT is during the HIKE of crude OIL.
SO NOW we looking forward for a utility drop due to the price is dropping this few mths. So 3 month later SP service cannot say that they are STILL buying expensive crude oil.
November 7th, 2008 at 5:46 pm
Can lar. They can still say they bought at a premium. Different Grade, Different class, Different Supplier. They can still argue that power supply are one the best in the world with minimal disruption blah blah blah. Get used to their reason already. No point arguing with them. Because they are operating in a monopolistic environment. If you want lower utilities bill, competition has to come in
November 7th, 2008 at 6:22 pm
Haha, but i dont think singapore garmen will allow a competition. U have money also useless.
November 8th, 2008 at 1:12 am
U live in Sing-ka-po…they want everything to be NO. 1………..price of electricity must also be No, 1.
November 8th, 2008 at 5:34 pm
Haha… seems like alot of ppl out there think alike like me.
November 9th, 2008 at 12:13 am
What to do… Sux thumb lor
November 9th, 2008 at 10:56 am
well…as u know guys….we had our first F1 event here. so SP try to collect more profits from us as they have wasted a lot of money during the F1 event. that’s why lah they made alot of excuses about the expensive oil prices they bought. this is all cover ups.

and kudos to taxi companies which opt out their 30 surcharge. at least the taxi companies understand about their commuters needs….unlike this problem about our power n water bills still going up and up. really stupid.
November 10th, 2008 at 1:05 am
if the rise in everything (food, groceries, transport cost, elecrtricty / water bills,…etc) was because of the rise of the price of crude oil since N months ago…now that the price of crude oil has FALLEN so much, why hasn’t all those things that i mentioned above reduced their prices at all?!?!?! i used to think that our age once goes up will never come down,i REALLY didn’t knew all those things will stay at the top also…..
November 10th, 2008 at 9:32 am
i am still waiting for sbs to reduce their fares … really wonder if the ptc is just a facade or do they really have the interest of the commuters
November 10th, 2008 at 10:04 am
Well at least petrol prices HAVE dropped quite a bit. I think more people should complain through the media and put these companies under pressure to drop their charges.
November 10th, 2008 at 12:55 pm
that is the problem with these so called ‘authorities’ … am planning to write in. although i do not take public transport, i do not feel justified for the commuters, especially the lower income ones ..
November 12th, 2008 at 12:52 am
Just wondering…. do any of them in the PTC even take the bus to/fro work?
November 12th, 2008 at 5:46 pm
go to the speaker’s corner in Hong Lim Park and voice your displeasure….that’s what this place is for anyway…
November 12th, 2008 at 6:28 pm
that doesn’t mean we can’t voice our displeasure here. Hong Lim park is not the only place.

hong lim? and get marked thereafter …
anyway, i reckon pump prices will dip soon … finally my full tank is below the $100 mark …
