btw, you guys heard about the "fuel save" thingy by Shell? They are claiming that their new formula 95 and 98 (not for V-Power) will save you 1 litre for every full tank (which they define at 50 litres).

hmm, i'm wondering if it really works. if it does, it's a 2% saving.. But then again, esso's deal is still the best, for now..

In case some of you guys thinking of going to Esso Pasir Panjang ... they had just reduced from 13% to 12% (on-site discount) yesterday... :(
Looks like Esso now has the best deal (better than SPC) ... ok going to Citibank to apply for the Privilege Card ... Thanks, ALL for the latest update!

Hi aaa,
This is correct. u use voucher then no 5% citibank discount. But if u use esso privilege, then the 5% is considered as esso privilege discount, not citibank discount, though the card is issued by citibank. So u can use the voucher. I wonder which scholar came up with this fantastic idea.

You can get the info to apply for the card @ https://www.citibank.com.sg/SGGCB/APPS/portal/loadPage.do?path=/global_htm/forms/essomobil/essomobil_cardmember.htm

Or easier, go down to any citibank branches and fill up a form.

Hmm.. last time $2 voucher for esso I remember cannot use Citibank dividend card.. Now can?
___________________________________________________________________________

Still can't use, but can be used with esso mobil privilege card linked with citibank dividend card.

Just with the dividend card alone cannot be used with voucher, its stated behind the voucher.

HI Paladin,

I think for cash rebate is 5% of the nett price after minus discounts + vouchers which should amounts to 2.95%

dork. Let me try in terms of calculation.

Assume SGD 70 top up

The discounts are:
Voucher -4.00
Station -3.50
Discount	-3.50
Cash Back	-3.15
Loyalty -2.02
Total -16.17

Therefore total discount in percentage terms is 23.1%

Not true leh. I can always get all the discount at Esso. I.e. 13% off + $2 or $3 off from voucher + smiles point. Both West Coast and the one at Newton circus gives the discount.
