I have a feeling price is going up soon

  2. whiteknight Says:

    I miss the V-Power promotion…:-(

  3. pls hold your price Says:

hey hey any one where is the nearest Esso station in JB???????

  4. Paladin Says:

pls hold your price. The nearest ESSO station in JB is just after the Shell station. Take the turn off after the Shell station and go under the fly over along Jalan Tebrau. The ESSO station will be on your left. It’s pretty basic though. No car wash or groceries :-(. However it is less crowded than the Shell station and after topping up, you can take a right turn at the lights and head back to SG.

  5. Guardian Devil Says:

    Paladin,

That SHELL station which you had mentioned, just trying to exit is a nightmare.
So many cars and motor bikes moving non stop.
Not only that, V-Power is not available most of the time. Unless go at midnight or early morning.

  6. pls hold your price Says:

Thanks Paladin. wanna go in toml night. hehehe thanks

  7. haha Says:

hahaha.. Guardian Devil!!! veri long never see u lao wor.. LOL… yup e nearest shell is DAMM PACKED always!!!! e ESSO station Paladin say also quite packed coz is near junction.. U can pump there so u wan yup…

i prefer to pump at e place got 3 petrol station next to each other de… better n bright=D also quite near sg custom… 5 mins from e nearest shell=D if u wan it’s better to go for car wash at sentosa, makan then petrol off back to sg!!! hehe=D jus my 2 cents of info. Safety is impt yea….

  8. Guardian Devil Says:

    haha,

Ya, its been a while since I wrote here…
    Been busy “exploring” JB, hahaha….
Correct!!. Tat 3 stations BHP, SHELL and then ESSO. (Along the way to kota tinggi)
Make a u turn, pump then go makan if you wan.

But weekdays afternoon, try not to go in alone la….
I gana spot check when coming back to Singapore by Singapore ICA.
Wasted my timing talking and let them examine my car.

  9. xxxjl Says:

Ssssshhhhh!!!! Let’s not talk about pumping in our neighborhood. Later, they check every damm car’s tank …..Keep to yourself….

  10. PumpNOW Says:

Pump today or before noon tomorrow…
Price going up across the board by another 3 cents at least…

  11. Guardian Devil Says:

    PumpNOW,

Base on which info, you can tell us why is the price is going up?
U work for any of the petrol cartel?

If not, please do not raise any groundless assumption here.

    http://www.oil-price.net/index.php?lang=en

  12. ss Says:

when the hell are these suckers going to reduce our pump price?

  13. dork Says:

    ss expects pump price down

pumpnow says pump price up today noon.

Can some some experts comment on the current situation?

  14. some some experts Says:

    Looking for me? ;-)

Pump price movements will either go up or down within these few weeks, but whatever the movement, or whichever company starts first, it will have no effect on the number of cars on the roads. Everything cancels out nicely.

  15. Jiao Wei Says:

come on, some some experts, your coments as good as no comment.reali jiao wei..ofcos it either goes up or down…hope the $3 promotion will stay after nov 09.

the new OPC scheme seems attractive…but the $1100 cash rebate every 6 mths…through how?

  16. some some experts Says:

i was asked for comments on something that is obvious wat. if the price goes up next week, it will come down again some time later. If the price goes down next week, it will go up again. Up down, down up…isnt this cancelling each other eventually? Petrol price fluctuations are a zero sum game - it cancels out nicely. Either way, consumers are taken for a ride.BUT YET, we still drive right? So thats y i say it has NO EFFECT on the number of cars on the roads regardless of whether the price goes up or down.

  17. Jiao Wei Says:

if that is the case, what is the point of having this website since price up up and down down, rite?ppl still concern abt fuel price, where cheaper,…where get the most value for money.ya, ppl still drive, may change opc, or drive less.

  18. some some experts Says:

An increase of 5 cents per litre will work out to about an approximate increase of 10 dollars a month, if you pump 60 litres a week, including all the credit card/station discounts. The increase will be even lesser if you pump less than 60 litres. You telling me that if you can afford a car, or even an OPC car, you cant afford an extra 10 dollars? Please dont involve taxis, lorries, etc into the picture. We are talking about privately owned cars. After the increase, the price will drop again in the future, by another 3-5 cents a litre. The website serves to let us the TREND, offers us where to get the best credit and station discounts for our credit card. It is just an info site. That is the point, young man.

  19. Jiao Wei Says:

Every single cent saving which equate to dollars counts, else ppl why look even to JB or shell promo, although there are ppl who still save,
Come on, unless you are damn rich, you will forever stick to the most expensive petrol, go park in expensive parking, constantly drive past all ERP during lunch…all these adds to costs!come on, Every cost u save can use to buy things. For all those price increase and drop, as good as just say dependent on oil price.
What ppl like to know is what they can enjoy savings. You ask ard, even young man or Old man, do they wan savings of $10?if not, why bother the $3 voucher discount at Esso,SPC, and Caltex.?Why not pump $55 and tell cashier, i do not want $3, cos no diff, i can afford.

This is definitely a good site cum info site, not just info.Ppl come here to get savings, if not, why ppl so bother?
That the point, rich old man.

  20. some some experts Says:

it just so happens that besides u and me, nobody else bothers in this site. Have a great weekend

  21. dork Says:

actually many people care about petrol prices. i do not agree that if there is a increase in price now the price will drop back later. prices were at $1/litrer many years ago. it has not gone back

  22. muachee Says:

i think he meant now leh, an increase in 5 cents this week and some time later, there will be a decrease in 3 cents, then another 2 cents, before a subsequent increase again…it is a big joke and these cpys are taking us for a damn ride!
