actually many people care about petrol prices. i do not agree that if there is a increase in price now the price will drop back later. prices were at $1/litrer many years ago. it has not gone back

Every single cent saving which equate to dollars counts, else ppl why look even to JB or shell promo, although there are ppl who still save,
Come on, unless you are damn rich, you will forever stick to the most expensive petrol, go park in expensive parking, constantly drive past all ERP during lunch...all these adds to costs!come on, Every cost u save can use to buy things. For all those price increase and drop, as good as just say dependent on oil price.
What ppl like to know is what they can enjoy savings. You ask ard, even young man or Old man, do they wan savings of $10?if not, why bother the $3 voucher discount at Esso,SPC, and Caltex.?Why not pump $55 and tell cashier, i do not want $3, cos no diff, i can afford.

This is definitely a good site cum info site, not just info.Ppl come here to get savings, if not, why ppl so bother?
That the point, rich old man.

An increase of 5 cents per litre will work out to about an approximate increase of 10 dollars a month, if you pump 60 litres a week, including all the credit card/station discounts. The increase will be even lesser if you pump less than 60 litres. You telling me that if you can afford a car, or even an OPC car, you cant afford an extra 10 dollars? Please dont involve taxis, lorries, etc into the picture. We are talking about privately owned cars. After the increase, the price will drop again in the future, by another 3-5 cents a litre. The website serves to let us the TREND, offers us where to get the best credit and station discounts for our credit card. It is just an info site. That is the point, young man.

i was asked for comments on something that is obvious wat. if the price goes up next week, it will come down again some time later. If the price goes down next week, it will go up again. Up down, down up...isnt this cancelling each other eventually? Petrol price fluctuations are a zero sum game - it cancels out nicely. Either way, consumers are taken for a ride.BUT YET, we still drive right? So thats y i say it has NO EFFECT on the number of cars on the roads regardless of whether the price goes up or down.

Looking for me? ;-)

Pump price movements will either go up or down within these few weeks, but whatever the movement, or whichever company starts first, it will have no effect on the number of cars on the roads. Everything cancels out nicely.
