March 10th, 2010 at 11:05 pm
SPC as usual is trying to gain profit by volume sales…. good strategy..
March 11th, 2010 at 2:16 am
i like… deliberately put one cent cheaper .. haha.. wonder if the other 3 will follow.. haha..
March 11th, 2010 at 3:15 am
Shall we support SPC only? Most of the time, the last to increase.
March 11th, 2010 at 6:23 am
spc rewards programme no good
March 11th, 2010 at 9:14 am
Rounding difference again? Last time also like that. LOL
March 11th, 2010 at 10:25 am
One cent difference not a lot unless you pump tons of litres. Will go for the vpower promo this Fri to Sun , 7pm to 11pm.. Vpower for price of 98…difference is much more 0.179 cents per cents…compared to SPC one cent differencel.

March 11th, 2010 at 3:43 pm
CCS only whacked small local contractors and bus operators. They are scared of the lawyers of big oil co.

though most cars say can pump 92 but recommend at least 95 or 98.Can afford to buy car then dun be stingy over 6 cents difference per litre (between 92 and 95). How much do you save? $1-2 per tank. Overall, my recommendation to all car drivers is to pump at least 95 .Price difference not a lot. 92 at times can damage engine in long run. Have witness it manyt times. To replace one engine or repair it cost much more than the savings you get from 92. Just my 1 cent worth as a car tech.

I am not bothered by SPC offering 1 cent lower because of the following reasons
- Credit card promo is worse than the rest of the companies PLUS no reward points like Thanks/Smiles/Escape points
- I do not own a fleet of cars to spend >$500 per mth to get 8% discount
- petrol not suitable for my car (Honda Civic) as it gives less power and use more fuel (MOST IMPORTANT reason for me)
- SPC no longer SG company.Owned by China Petrol company. Even pump attendents and some cashier are PRC.
- Not saying China stuff are lousy but they usually commend a lower price compare to non China brands…maybe that why now SPC is1 cent cheaper?

March 11th, 2010 at 11:59 pm
so exciting hah!. down up down.O.O.
March 12th, 2010 at 8:36 am
non SPC user,
PRC are seen at almost all petrol stations, not just limited to SPC. I do not see See Hum or the rest transferring cost savings of employing cheaper labour to the consumers…
Instaed, they are sucking us dry to MAXIMISE their profits and fat bonus.

anyone going for the v power for the price of 98 offer at shell later? today till 14th march. 7pm-11pm
March 12th, 2010 at 9:23 am
Of course the govt wont do anything to the price of petrol, the more the petrol station charge, the more GST they earn from it.
