shell bedok north was giving out vouchers a while ago, dunno still got or not? big booklet
also, escape members got double escape points from now until nov or something like that.

managed to get the vouchers. lots of different discounts ranging from car wash to drinks to fuel.
2 types for fuel
$3 off for $40 could be used at any shell station
15% off min $50 but could only be used at simpang bedok and kembangan
I combined the 15% with the double smart$ today and filled my tank to the brim. It is similar to $5 voucher 2 weeks ago but you do not have to just pump $50. you can pump more. there is no double escape points. for my deal. total 23.5% discount + escape points

one more thing about the voucher. it is given out by the cashier, after you have filled petrol from them. strategies suggested:
if you are thickskined, go straight to the counter, ask for the vouchers then drive to simpang bedok or kembangan to top up.
if you are too shy to ask from the girl, fill $10, collect the vouchers and drive to simpang bedok or kembangan to top up or simply go one more round and use the $3 voucher

Thanks shellvoucher and dork. I got my shell vouchers from Shell Bedok North this afternoon.
All forumers please note that Shell Bedok North is CLOSING DOWN on 5 August 2010! So please go get your vouchers before it is too late. Admin may want to post this on the roundup.
I thick-skin, walk to counter and ask lady cashier for voucher. She gave me a booklet and asked if i pump petrol today. I replied no, cos’ haven’t reach minimum value yet, but will come back within next few days. She face black black say next few days station will be closed liao. I just smile and reply i’ll pump at other Shell station then, and Shell will still earn my money. Hahaha…
Just when i thought its finally time to switch to SPC after 3 months of Esso, Shell gives the best value on Sundays in August. SPC will have to wait then.

Still the same… SPC&U Card + Everyday card = 15% + 6% cash rebate… Effectively abt 20+%… just under 21%.
Just pump once a week every Wed at SPC.
For guys who did not get the 6% cash rebate, I called up POSB, they said the other 3% will be credited later…. no need worry, will stil get it as long as pump on wed…

Ho, using Shell $3 for $40 pumped voucher with UOB Signature Card gives 21.25% discount on Sundays with double smart rebates. If stay near Bedok area, use the 15% voucher like dork and get 23.5% discount!
Too bad double rebate ends on 15 August, so 2 more Sundays to go. If no extension, then it’s going to be SPC with SPC&U + Everyday Card on wednesdays for me liao.

XY, confirm i didn’t pump at Shell Bedok North yesterday. Fully loaded with Esso on Sat 31 July, so no space in fuel tank for more petrol lah. Hahaha… Maybe the petrol station now decide to make some money first. Can do like what dork suggest lor, maybe pump $10 as a token or something?
LL, the booklet is valid till Jan 2011. Should still be available cos’ i saw at least 50-60 booklets at the side counter yesterday. Dunno whether any more under the counter. Hahaha. Just be aware that the station might want you to pump something first before giving, as experienced by XY. No right or wrong here. It’s up to the station cashier whether want to give or not i think.

Admin, there are two kind of vouchers in the booklet. Not all are usable at ANY Shell Station.
1) 15% off (inclusive station discount) : only can use at Shell Simpang Bedok and Shell Changi Kembangan.
2) $3 off for $40 pumped : can use at any Shell station.

Eh Mamak, my sentiments exactly with regard to the crude prices and the possibility of the petrol companies may raise price! On my way back to office just now, i oso decided to top up with SPC first since today is wednesday. Haha. By sunday should be able to expend enough to still top up $40 from shell.
