  2. Vid Says:

Very heng. Pumped SPC at 10.10am today but station hasn’t adjusted the new price

  3. camaro'ed Says:

is there noone who should regulate this? how can they raise prices as and when they want?
shouldn’t they have to consult some regulatory authorities to see if they can justify the increase before actually increasing prices?

  4. camaro'ed Says:

if one of the big 4 increases and the rest follows shortly, isn’t this price fixing?

  5. hor say liao Says:

No lah those oil coy can’t be penalized as price fixing although they increased by the same amount cos the end result pricing of their product is not the same. This is the same argument that the govt used for the taxi coy. we can only go suck thumb.

  6. Bill Says:

Instead of increasing cents why not increase 1 dollar

If I recall ron98 in 2010 was 1.50 now increase by 50 percent!

  7. ac Says:

govt definition of price fixing: the companys must have to meeting to discuss the prices, then it is called price fixing. since the oil companys do not meet, they are not considered to have broken the law.

  8. ac Says:

also the anti competitive law is meant to whack smes like maid agencies, bus companies. not meant for oil giants

  9. Web Says:

I pump SPC Levo 98. Whichever that gives the best price and mileage will have my vote.

  10. Budget2012 Says:

Tharman: To encourage the adoption of new and cleaner diesel technologies, the Special Tax for Euro V compliant cars will be lowered from $1.25 per cc to $0.40 per cc from January 2013, a reduction of 70%. For a 1,600cc Euro V diesel car, this means that the Special Tax payable is comparable to the annual fuel tax paid by an equivalent petrol car.

  11. sam Says:

How much does a euro v car/van cost?
Don’t think will save much either!
