Singapore follows Brent Crude Oil Price not WTI
June 19th, 2012 at 8:38 pm
Petrol so the expensive, I rather eat Musang King !!
June 20th, 2012 at 4:43 pm
It does not really matter, WTI or blend. It up or down both also follow. If really follow blend, then blend drop from more than 127 to less than 100, around 30% drop already. Why they are not being investigated as other industries on cartel. How could it be possible for all to get to the same price on almost the same day. They also must have exactly same, crude transaction price, same operating costs, same…oop same owner as well, I guess.

Shell px drop another 3c again last nite …

Driver, yes you are right. Both drop and rise at the same time. But there are times when both drop and rise at different magnitude, different percentage. Why I’m saying we follow Brent is because Brent is based in London / Europe / MIddle East and that is where Singapore buys crude oil from.
WTI is the rate that is used for oil sold from USA. We don’t buy from there. You can google and find out more.
