Brought this post from pervious thread

@SAFRA I meant is 14% safra discount usable with addition 6% OCBC credit card? I it does, GREAT! You get upfront 20% off and the less $2 more.
If it doesn’t, then does other station safra 11% be use with OCBC 6%? If this is possible then you get 17% off and then less $2 more!

Addon if above 2 is not possible, then can Site + AAS CARD + OCBC CREDIT possible? 5%+5%+6% = 16% then add $2? Hahaa I am coming out with many possible way p maximise discount but am not sure if it can.

  2. Safra Says:

@ James, I do not think so as it is stated not in use with other promotion or discount, privileges or offers.

  3. james Says:

@safra, I agree, it is state in the 14% discount that it cannot be use with other promotion. For the $2 off, it also state it earn 11% discount for petrol which could also mean no additional credit card discount.

Next come the payment. If payment by credit card do not attract addition direct discount then the best mode of payment will be Citibank Dividen Card because it will definitely attract 5% rebate on your card bill( provided that you pump $61 & $59 respectively which you will get 21.4% and 18.9%).

If you tank is big enough to hold $80 worth of petrol AND you can use 2 voucher for $4 off; then the discount will be 23.45% & 20.3%

  4. james Says:

I do not own a SAFRA card so I cannot prove/confirm the above.

I must say that caltex is the most confusing to me when I tried to work out the best combination with highest discount!

I am still studying the HSBC discount term and condition and I am not able to fully comprehen it’s meaning at this point of time. (I also do not own a HSBC credit card)

  5. Safra Says:

@ James, yes, you are right about it. The best is to use credit cards that earn rebates for Caltex pump.

  6. Vid Says:

  9. Vid Says:

Crude has been pretty stable the past week. After a few miserable price cut, they revert back to suka suka increase. The directors need the money to buy joss paper for 7 month cos they have too many “sins”.

  10. yulee Says:

Esso and Caltex both up as well

  11. samsgp Says:
