ExxonMobil have finally increased their petrol and diesel pump prices. We can confirm that prices increased by 2 cents across all grades on 12 September 2007 @ 1400 hrs. This is the first time that one brand has waited for a week before it increased their prices. Significant changes in prices are reflected in detail and can viewed in the table below. Last week, petrol and diesel pump prices went up by 2 cents. Caltex increased first, followed by Shell and eventually SPC. In recent times, our records show that petrol and diesel pump prices are adjusted throughout the board for all 4 brands. These adjustments take place no more than 2 days apart from the first fluctuation.

It has been a week and ExxonMobil have made no indication of any price increase. We have been monitoring the situation very closely and at 6pm on 11 Sept 2007, we can confirm that ExxonMobil have not increased their pump prices by 2 cents. Have ExxonMobil decided to break away from the trend of one for all and all for one? Or is this a sign of a huge increase in pump prices for them in the near future? - Admin

Shell and SPC have increased pump prices for petrol and diesel by $0.02. Shell increased prices at 9pm on 5 September 2007 and SPC increased prices at 8am on 6 September 2007. COE Prices have increased once again. Results for the September 2007 1st Open Bidding Exercise were released on 05 September 2007 at 1600hrs. Prices for most categories have increased drastically since the last open bidding. Vehicles in Cat A saw the highest increase in prices by $9881. Vehicles in Cat B, Cat C and Cat E, saw price increases of over $2000. The only reduction in prices was for vehicles in Cat D, where prices dropped by a $108.
