Breaking The Trend - Is This A Sign Of Things To Come?

Posted by admin in News on September 11th, 2007
September 11th, 2007

Last week, petrol and diesel pump prices went up by 2 cents. Caltex increased first, followed by Shell and eventually SPC. In recent times, our records show that petrol and diesel pump prices are adjusted throughout the board for all 4 brands. These adjustments take place no more than 2 days apart from the first fluctuation.

It has been a week and ExxonMobil have made no indication of any price increase. We have been monitoring the situation very closely and at 6pm on 11 Sept 2007, we can confirm that ExxonMobil have not increased their pump prices by 2 cents. Have ExxonMobil decided to break away from the trend of one for all and all for one? Or is this a sign of a huge increase in pump prices for them in the near future? - Admin
