As of 1600 hrs on 20 Feb 2009, we can confirm that all 4 petrol companies have DECREASED their petrol & diesel pump prices consecutively in less than 2 days.

Shell - 3pm
ExxonMobil - 3.30pm
SPC - 3.45pm
Caltex - 4pm

Summary of price changes:
Grade 92 & 95 remain the same. (All)

Grade 98 decreased by 4 cents (All)

Premium decreased by 4 cents (Shell & Caltex)

Diesel decreased by 4 cents. (All)

After 2 weeks of silence, the prices of fuel have finally dropped again! As of 1340 hrs on 2 Dec 2008, we can confirm that all 4 brands have REDUCED petrol & diesel pump prices for all grades by 4 cents in the following order:

Shell - 1200hrs
SPC, Caltex - 1300hrs
ExxonMobil - 1330hrs

Pump prices drop again! However, this time it does not apply to all brands.  As of 1500 hrs on 3 Nov 2008, we can confirm that Caltex, ExxonMobil and SPC have REDUCED petrol & diesel pump prices for all grades by 5 cents in the following order:

Shell - N.A
ExxonMobil - 1200hrs
SPC, Caltex - 1300hrs

Dear PetrolWatchers, your kind patience has finally paid off! The long awaited Price History chart is now ready! Instead of the previous teensy weensy chart on the Homepage, we’ve expanded it and placed it on a dedicated page. Lagi best! Wait…there’s more! Instead of a 3 month window, you can view prices across 24 months now as well.

Some of you have requested to map pump prices against crude oil prices. Unfortunately as of now, we’ve not be able to locate any comprehensive data sources. If you know where of one, do share it with us. And as usual, feel free to let us have your feedback and comments on this feature.

Is it really happening? Petrol prices are diving and slowly dropping below the $2 per litre mark. As of 5 pm on 6 August 2008, we can confirm that all 4 brands have REDUCED petrol pump prices for all grades by 4 cents & diesel pump prices by 6 cents in the following order:

Shell - 2pm
SPC - 2.45pm
ExxonMobil - 4.30pm
Caltex - 5pm

Well, looks like good things are coming ahead. ExxonMobil has further reduced pump prices for petrol and diesel by 1 cent.

Earlier today, Shell & SPC also reduced prices. We expect Caltex to follow soon enough!

Pinch me silly or am I just dreaming? Well, apparently not!! Petrol & diesel pump prices have made a second reduction today by 1 cent.

So far, SHELL and SPC have reduced petrol and diesel prices by a total of 4 & 6 cents respectively today.

Excellent start to the week! Another round of pump price reductions! As of 11am on 28 July 2008, we can confirm that all 4 brands have REDUCED pump prices for all grades by 10 cents in the following order:

Shell - 9am
SPC - 10am
Caltex, ExxonMobil  - 10.30am

Yes finally the truth has dawned! As of 1600hrs on 2 July 2007, we can safely confirm that base prices for petrol and diesel at all 4 brands have been adjusted due to the GST hike. Significant changes in prices are reflected in detail and can viewed in the table below. You can check and calculate the nett prices (after discount) you can expect to pay for petrol with our “Savings Calculator” in our “Prices” section under the “Price Guru” tab.
