Petrol prices are on the rise again! Barely a month after a 2 cent increase at the start of September 07, we can confirm that all 4 brands have increased pump prices at 1700hrs on 1 October 2007. A change in trend sees Shell, SPC and ExxonMobil increase prices by 5 cents and Caltex increase by 3 cents. Significant changes in prices are reflected in detail and can viewed in the tables below. Last week, petrol and diesel pump prices went up by 2 cents. Caltex increased first, followed by Shell and eventually SPC. In recent times, our records show that petrol and diesel pump prices are adjusted throughout the board for all 4 brands. These adjustments take place no more than 2 days apart from the first fluctuation.

It has been a week and ExxonMobil have made no indication of any price increase. We have been monitoring the situation very closely and at 6pm on 11 Sept 2007, we can confirm that ExxonMobil have not increased their pump prices by 2 cents. Have ExxonMobil decided to break away from the trend of one for all and all for one? Or is this a sign of a huge increase in pump prices for them in the near future? - Admin
